Our Origins
Founded during a period of growth and optimism in Johannesburg after WW2, the Lodge was named to commemorate a significant Jubilee period within the British and South African Masonic communities. From its earliest days, Transvaal Jubilee Lodge became known for its strong character, integrity, and commitment to high Masonic standards.

A Tradition of Stability & Renewal
Throughout its history, the Lodge has embraced both tradition and evolution. Its membership has included men from varied professions, cultural backgrounds, and generations, creating a rich and dynamic heritage. Today, Transvaal Jubilee Lodge continues its mission with renewed energy. We are focused on growth, revitalising our membership, and introducing Freemasonry to a new generation seeking purpose, belonging, and connection.
