Who We Are
Who We Are
Transvaal Jubilee Lodge No. 6143 E.C. is a welcoming, forward-looking Masonic Lodge under the United Grand Lodge of England (UGLE), meeting at Freemasons’ Hall, Parktown, Johannesburg, within the District of South Africa North.
We bring together men from all walks of life who value integrity, self-improvement, and genuine connection in a world that’s increasingly fast-paced and disconnected.
The “UGLE district of South Africa North” refers to the District Grand Lodge of South Africa, North, which is a branch of the United Grand Lodge of England. It is the largest Masonic district in southern Africa, with Lodges in the northern provinces of South Africa – Gauteng, North West, Limpopo, and Mpumalanga – as well as in Botswana, Eswatini, and Mauritius.
The District Grand Lodge of South Africa, North is the overseas equivalent of a Provincial Grand Lodge in England. It has over 1300 members from diverse ethnic, religious, cultural, and social backgrounds, who belong to its 82 Lodges.
